Yes, I like to get paid for my art and stories. Yes, it helps pay my bills. No, I don't think the only ideas worth listening to are the ones attached to dollar signs.

That is not to say I don't appreciate my commissioners. I do give them my all, and they get a lot of perks for their money.

But if you happen to be broke I can sympathize. If you like my art enough to want me to tackle your idea through drawing or writing I'd be honored.

I like requests because they force me to try new things, and sometimes they make other people happy, too. Happiness = good.

I can't promise that I'll get to every request. But if I do yours I'll put the finished product up here, on my site. I might put up a small black and white pdf so that you, and everyone else, can have a mini-print. And if I like the finished product enough to sell you'd get first dibs on it before I put it up for auction or a discount on a print.

Though if you're the sort that might get uppity if I don't do your idea "right", or if someone else gets the artwork, or you really want a high quality hard copy of your idea in your hands, or you'd like to keep your ideas private, then you might want to consider hiring me.
